I am obsessed with avocado toast lately. Although this recipe isn't super low carb, its full of many nutrients that fuel our bodies!

ingredients
1 ripe avocado, halved, pitted and peeled
Fine salt and black pepper
Whole grain/wheat bread slices
1 garlic clove (minced)
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Juice from 1/2 a lemon
Crushed red pepper flakes
Sea Salt
directions
Cut the avocado in half, remove pit, and scoop into a bowl
Season with salt and pepper
Add lemon juice, olive oil, garlic and red pepper flakes
Mash the ingredients with a fork, keeping the texture slightly chunky
Toast bread to your liking (I personally like to grill the bread in a skillet with butter. If I am short on time I use the toaster)
Top with red pepper flakes and sea salt to taste
