Hi Friends! Every since I posted this drink on my Instagram, so many of you have tried it! I am glad you love it! I get tagged in a photo of the drink EVERY SINGLE DAY by my followers/friends saying how good it is! I have 2 of these a day. I love it! When I first tried it, I was nervous to order because it doesn't have a name. You have to list every single ingredient and walk the barista through when ordering. Here is what to say and how the label should look:
"I'll have a... GRANDE ICED PASSION TEA -no liquid cane -add 2 pumps of SUGAR FREE VANILLA -Splash of HEAVY CREAM" (Then add a Splenda) Be prepared because they may look at you weird and ask if you are SURE thats what you really want. Yes its what you really want. They may also ask if you still want the water in there. The answer is YES. (I've seen some people order without the water and replace the water with heavy cream. For me that is a little too fattening and thick. This also increases the carb amount.) CARB COUNT: If its just a splash of heavy cream it is carb free! YAY! If they went a little heavy on the heavy cream it will be 1-3 carbs. The drink can be handed to you 1 of 2 ways. 1.) They could mix the heavy cream in the shaker and the color should be bubblegum pink. 2.) They could just top it off with the heavy cream so the top is white and the bottom is dark pink. It will just get mixed together when you add your Splenda. How to tell if the drink is wrong: The color. If you mix it up and it is white, they put too much heavy cream. If you mix it up and it is darker than bubblegum pink, they didn't put enough heavy cream. I often go back up to the counter and ask for a splash more :) If I get a tall, I still keep the recipe the same. If I get a Venti I get 3-4 pumps of SUGAR FREE VANILLA, Also make sure they are using heavy cream, not regular cream. This all might sound a little crazy for a drink but trust me, it is worth it. Plus it becomes easy to order after a few times! Just remember the tips above. Let me know if you tried it and what you think about it! Also if tea isn't your thing, here is a link to an article that shows you other drink options that are carb free or low carb! Enjoy! KETO STARBUCKS

You shouldn’t add half & half! The cream will curdle because of the acidity of the passion tea (I also find it separates). Use almond milk or soy milk instead. If you use milk alternatives, a barista can shake it in a shaker and thus you can request that they add the Splenda. This way the Splenda is evenly distributed and doesn’t clump at the bottom. (Baristas are not supposed to mix a drink with dairy in a shaker unless they have a dairy-specific shaker, due to allergies.)

I get the same thing, but I will ask for it to be blended. Then I don't have to deal with the constant stirring when the cream separates.
