Hi. It’s me. Your Unofficial Miss Arizona. I’m reporting to you from my new favorite spot in Arizona: PAGE! I had the honor of being a guest of the Hyatt Place Lake Powell/Page and exploring the surrounding area. If you are looking for a true Arizona experience, keep reading to see why you must add this spot to your bucket list!
First, I asked my adventure partner Gretchen to join me. She packed her bags and flew to Phoenix so we could drive to Page together. The drive was about 4 hours. While it may seem like a bit of a drive from Phoenix, it was WELL worth it. I had no idea one little city could have so much beauty and adventure. We arrived and checked into the Hyatt Place Lake Powell/Page. It was located right in the mix of everything else going on in the city. It was so beautiful when we walked in and were greeted with warm smiles! We headed up to our room and had a beautiful view outside our window. We could look out and see so much of Page!

The next day the real adventure began! We did a off roading tour with Epic Adventure Rides! It was a experiance of a lifetime! Gretchen and I had the best time! We took turns driving. She didn’t like my driving as much lol! Very fast and fearless! We saw so m any beautiful sights and at one point, it even started pouring rain on us. It actually made it even more fun! Our guide was so personable and let us have our own fun while still keeping us safe. I would 100000000% recommend this excursion!
The next day Big Orange Jeep Tours dropped off some paddleboards for us! They were packaged up so nicely and were VERY nice boards! Very convenient and easy delivery! Also 2 inflatable boards fit into my small Fiat 500! We took them down to Lake Powell and paddled all the way into Antelope Canyon. It was definitely a sight to see. I will say that paddle boarding to the canyon is NOT for beginners. I am glad I have been going to the gym because otherwise it would have been even more of a challenge.
We had such a great time exploring Page. We ate some good food, met some fun people and LOVED all the outdoor activities! Everything was in such close proximity. Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, hikes, restaurants, coffee shops, EVERTHING! I love that this little town has so much to offer! I can’t wait to take my whole family! We will definitely continue to stay at the Hyatt Place Page Lake Powell and recommend it to all!
