 On November 10th, I partnered with Dermalogica Scottsdale to put on a fabulous charity event benefitting Beyond Type 1! Beyond Type 1 is an organization close to my heart as they educate, advocate and are on the search for a cure for those living with Type 1 Diabetes! This event would NOT have been possible without the help of MANY MANY local Arizona businesses who donated their time and resources for this fun pop-up party! + huge thank you to all the attendees! I have highlighted all the wonderful people who made this possible and you can check out all the photos below! Dermalogica Scottsdale I don’t have enough great things to say about my local Dermalogica. They have always been so kind and generous to the community. Even though they have no affiliation to diabetes, they still support me and the cause any chance they get! Make sure to visit them in Old Town Scottsdale for all your skincare needs! Sugaring by Auburey Aesthetics This is the second time Auburey has volunteered to offering facial sugaring for an event of mine! She always has a line of people waiting to get in her chair because she is so good at what she does! You can make an appointment with her at: Sugar Suite Braid Bar by S and L Trends Probably the biggest hit of the night! Everyone left with a beautiful braid in their hair! Such a fun attraction to have at any event! Check them out on Instagram! Makeup by Mimi Von Lace Mimi is a wonderful full-time makeup artist who also happens to live with Type 1! Giving back to those with Type 1 has been a mission close to her heart! Check out her Instagram to see her work here: Instagram Manicures by Ethereal Nails and Express Spa The owner Elizabeth worked non-stop the whole event using Dazzle Dry. It is a Locally made Vegan, Non-toxic polish that dries rock hard in 5mins and wears 2 to 3 times longer than regular polish. You can check out her salon at: http://www.etherealnails.com Treat table by Martin Valadez & Sweets & Elegance Martin is actually my lifelong friend! He has always been by my side and supported me in whatever I do! He has a big creative mind and he uses it to make events extra special! Side note: the treats weren’t just pretty, everyone said they tasted amazing! Music by Mega 104.3 Viviana Aguilar who works at the station also lives with Type 1! She was more than happy to support the cause by sending the station to play music at the event. As you can tell it was a big hit! Def consider her for your next event! Check her out here: Instagram Taco Bar I didn’t get to eat because I was too busy parting but everyone mentioned how great the food was! My mom was out of town so she asked her friends and my sister to step in and help with the event and they did a great job! They cooked and served the food! Couldn’t have done it without their help! Special Blend Photography Mary happens to be the mom part of the Little Miss Awesome duo but she was also the event photographer! She has been so sweet and kind with her time!
